Ollomont

Ollomont is a small village in the Aosta Valley at 1400m, in the Valpelline Valley, at 18km from Aosta ...Because of its proximity to the centre of the Region and to Aosta, Ollomont is a strategic location for those who wants to sojourn in a quiet place and, at the same time, to be able to quickly reach the other valleys of Val d’Aosta.
Nature offers plenty of amusements! There are lots of walks to do, for the experts and principiants alike; in an hour you get to the wonderful Valley of By, from where you can reach various mountain huts, and the more experts can do the Grand Combin Tour and the Alta Via 1.
The landscape is the real attraction of the spot, with its incredible colours and its animals: deer, roe deer, rock goats, marmots, foxes, hares!  During the winter you can go snow shoeing, cross country skiing ( lighted track at night), and for the smaller ones there is a ski slope and a snow park! Ollomont also offers the opportunity to get closer to the climbing world. Experts can climb the ice falls, with the alpine guides of Valpelline. This is a place where you get renewed through nature and where you take some time to listen to the silence.
